The BPD Annual Conference will again honor Ron Federico with the Ron Federico Memorial Lecture. The Federico Lecture Series has tremendously contributed to the BPD Conference since its beginning and this year will be no exception.

Wayne C. Evens of Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, has been selected as this year's presenter. The presentation, "Bridges Start With A Vision and End In A Structure," calls for social educators and researchers to create and sell a new bridge to aging focusing on the strengths and opportunities of this life period-not its weaknesses.
