Sally Alonzo Bell
Azusa Pacific University
I have a long history of leadership with BPD; I have
served on the Board of Directors as Member-at Large, Secretary, and on numerous committees: Gerontology, Research, Advance
Standing, and Membership. In each capacity I have brought innovations and vision.
I also bring years of service to the profession of Social
Work and Social Work education. I have served NASW as Alternate Director, Regional Director, and First Vice-President (CA
Chapter); and at CSWE on the Board of Directors as BPD Representative.
Over the years I have developed and nurtured a large
network of BSW directors, faculty, and practitioners, which will serve as a rich resource for finding candidates for BPD board
positions. As your representative on the Nominations Committee, I will work diligently
to identify seasoned as well as new leaders who are creative and have a strong commitment to community building.
