Frederic Reamer

How about your own books? Which ones do you suggest?

With regard to teaching ethics, I'd suggest my recent book published by CSWE, Ethics Education in Social Work. For more philosophical content I'd suggest The Philosophical Foundations of Social Work (published by Columbia University Press).

Or both. I found Philosophical Foundations especially helpful in my policy classes, and it helped inform my thinking about social work generally. Many thanks for taking the time to sit for this interview.

It's gratifying to hear that my book was useful to you. It's been a pleasure chatting with you and having this opportunity to reflect on the evolution of my own thinking. Thanks.
