Membership Committee, Joel Ambelang, Chair

The committee members are:

Representing Region 1 (Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Louisiana, Tennessee) - Carol Boyd and Brenda Armstrong Clark;

Region 2 (Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Maryland, Delaware, District of Columbia) - C. J. Hicks;

Region 3 (Kansas, Nebraska, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Utah, Oklahoma) - Linda Moore, Lon Johnston;

Region 4 (Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Missouri) - Joel Ambelang, Erma Ballenger, Harry Macy;

Region 5 (Hawaii, Alaska, Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Nevada, Wyoming, Montana, Guam) - Sally Alonzo Bell;

Region 6 (New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Puerto Rico) - Carol Deanow

BPD has, as of March 12, 2002, 476 members: 237 regular; 238 associate; 1 lifetime, 0 emeritus. This total is 51 more than were members of record at APM.

The committee, in consultation with Ralph Holcomb, agreed to place the BPD membership application in the BPD Update. There are some who have not yet renewed their membership. Contact Wanda Katinszky at afwdk@uaa.alaska.edu if you are in doubt about your membership status.

The purpose of the membership committee is to recruit members and maintain membership services. Join now and increase the power of BPD in social work education.
