Committee Goals

1. To examine and study, on an ongoing basis, the social work education continuum.

2. To advocate for the Advanced Standing Program for social work higher
education.

3. To review, examine and make recommendation regarding the professional foundation content for social work higher education (the professional foundation for undergraduate and graduate social work higher education).

The Advanced Standing Committee will meet at the following times:

BPD Annual Conference, Denver, Colorado:

Wednesday, October 31, 2001: 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Saturday, November 3, 2001: 1:00 - 2:30 p.m.

Workshop/Forum on Advanced Standing

The Advanced Standing Committee will hold a workshop/forum on Advanced Standing at BPD Annual Conference in Denver, Colorado on Thursday, November 1, 2001, from 9 am - 10:45 am. Please consult the final program for confirmation of time and place.

Joint Meeting with BPD and NADD representatives on Advanced Standing

This meeting will take place at CSWE, APM in Nashville, TN. The Time and Place will be announced latter.
