The function of the Program Administration and Curriculum Development Committee is to assist BPD with administrative and curricular issues and tasks. Over the last couple of years, the committee has discussed issues related to EPAS, BEAP, the BPD sponsored trip to Ghana, faculty development institutes, and gerontology (Strengthening Aging and Gerontology Education for Social Work). The committee has also coordinated efforts to create an external review and evaluation process for the Journal of Baccalaureate Social Work (JBSW) as well attempting to have the journal listed with the Social Science Citation Index.
